10th August 2020 - coronavirus (COVID-19)
We have carried out a full Risk Assessment following guidelines set out by Government, NHS England and the Optical Bodies and this has resulted in some changes to the way we look after our patients and colleagues. We have been working in this revised way for a number of weeks and we have gradually been able to increase the number of days we are open and the clinics we have available for eye examinations and contact lens checks.
From September we will return to opening 6 days a week closing at 1.00pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays. We plan to recommence the activity of contacting you when your routine examination is due, however, you will appreciate that this will take time to complete as we work our way through a backlog going back to mid March. Alternatively rather than waiting for us to contact you If you would like an appointment contact us on 01588 673048 and we will be happy to arrange a convenient day and time.
